I NEED SCHEMATIC OF MPC 2000 please!

Hey Star One, yup that's exactly it... I thought I was a champ by doing so but the problem seems to be this: the ribbon cable that connects the IB-208P to the mother board was most likely inverted... this is what I did... I will check out your link—THANKS!!!

Hey Star One, I checked the tread you pointed to and I want to know if the first photos are of the circuit board of the MPC 2000 XL or the S2000? Not your second set of photos where you explain how it's done, the first set with the photo courtesy of Lampdog where you mention R1 and Yellow-Purple-Gold-Gold. The sections that starts with "A lot of repair services from what I read, were ripping a lot of people off.. "

Sorry I only just now saw this. The photo was the 2000XL, not the S2000. The thread is about how to repair a damaged component on 2000XL, not S2000
