Here with an update of sorts.

After 12 weeks in the shop here in Aus; the MPC is no better than when it was taken in

Unfortunately the repairer barely had a chance to look at it due to their workload being too much after some staff cuts.

I was lucky that the seller returned the product for another unit and it's working fine.

I wish I had better news for you. My only advice would be to take it to a professional and have them tinker with it.

Good luck with your unit, man - that was a total headache and a very strange problem. I hope you can sort it out soon.
