That price isn't including shipping. Here's the number, they have everything you need for your MPC, cases, buttons, etc. They're in Pasadena so if any of ya'll are in the LA area you could just go there, it'd be quicker and cheaper.

What's the name of the company? Do they have a physical store cuz pasadena is like 30 mins away, I could just drive down there...

i think the name of the company is vstservice if im not mistaken thats the place in pasadena that specializes in akai products.

is it a complicated process in installing the new pads? fairly easy or not?

Thanx for that number and that link too.As far as puttin the pads in it's easy.Remove the side screws and remove the face.Take the pads off and put the new ones down.Close it up....That's it.

I had the 2KXLSE3, there is no difference other than the color scheme.

as far as replacing the pads goes.. to answer that its really easy. take the shell off and pull thge old pads out and put the new ones in. the are only held in place by the grid on the cover.
