Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Maybe it calls it system exclusive, sysex is short for that, and channel pressure and poly pressure, that's the terminology used in my MPC.

Before everyone sends this guy chasing some ghost, maybe someone should tell him how to check how large his sequences are to see if they are exceeding capacity (which leads to hiccups).

he should be filtering sysex anyway, not really a waste even if it doesn't solve his problem.

Good idea. And can somebody tell me how to check how much RAM I have?

Not sure how that is related to this topic, but the answer is in the manual and the forum archives.

Damn, still don't have a solution for this problem.

I still can't find out whats making my sequences start to hesistate and not loop back smoothly. Anybody???

I had a all. file doing small hiccups when I pushed to record while the sequence was playing. (Enough to get me out of the groove).
My solution was that when I looked in the step edit window, certain tracks contained a lot of tempo change messages on the first beat. I deleted all this messages in all the sequences (the tempomassages where all set to 100%), and it fixed the hiccup.

Hope this helps

Thanks a lot man that fixed it. Now is there a way to disable this feature so it doesn't happen to me in the future?
