I JUST COPPED THIS 9 gig external drive w/ scsi cord for $128.00 but it on reads can't write is this a good deal???

not to mention impossible.
How could anything get onto it to be read in the first place, if no one could write to it? Wouldnt it defeat the purpose of a HD if you cant save anything on it? Wouldnt that be just a giant, empty paperweight?

well I messed up guys what it was was a cd-rom reader so I can load sounds onto my mpc -- "I guess I don't need a hard drive " My mp has the flash cards /media cards etc... My apologies OH is that a good buy for a cd-rom drive w/ scsi cords and 6 cd-rom sound discs?? got it off of ebay from scsi4samplers
