HHMMM....may I ask you for a sensible and believeable reason why u did that for? how will the 2000 aid U better than a 1000 ( i dont want to know the differences cause I know, I have a XL and a 1000) I just wanna know why u feel that u need a 2000 over a 1000.

I just liked the feel of the 2K better. I have worked with 2Ks previuosly and am used to the interface. Also, if I am correct Cubase will not slave to the 1K, but it will to the 2K (or so I was told). Also I figured I could get more money for a used 1k than a used 2k.

the feel I agree with, the user interface I can adjust of which I have.
Cubase does not slave well to anything. Sequencers like that act better as MASTER of which I use Cubase SX 2 & 3 with my MPC1000 fine.

Selling a used 1000 or 2000, well if u got a fully loaded 2000 it would go for a fair bit baring in mind the 1000 if more close to being fully loaded, (outputs effects, etc)

[plus if i had to use TimeStrecth for the 2000 I would die of old age.]

Well, I figure which ever I sold I would still come out on top, because I was able to buy the 2K and screen, a MoPhatt and throw some cash back in the bank with the chips I got from selling the 1K. Unfortunately, I am a bit stuck now because the RAM and zip drive I bought off of eBay is taking forever to show up in the mail. Anybody ever have any similar trouble with "sampler_source" from eBay?

Yeah, Ambush I believe it was one of your posts (I did a search) that made me look into EPR electronics. So props goes to you because I could not find shit with a google search. Unfortunately I still have not used the MPC much because I am still waiting on my RAM and zip drive!!!! And I had a deadline today to submit some beats for a major project. I had to finish off everything with Cubase and some VSTs :( I feel like slappin sumthin!!
