Multiple posts across different threads and self-bumping is not only annoying, but appears as demanding. You are essentially cluttering the board until YOU get the answer YOU want. Netiquette suggests that if you post something and you do not get an answer then the answer is no or no one knows. One should have been able to infer that from the lack of an answer already.
With regards to doing it yourself or paying someone, the method used to modify the MPC2000 is straightforward and anyone with minor experience in electronics work can easily see HOW it is done. Ensuring that it works is the costly issue. One small mistake and the mainboard is toasted. In other words, there is a great amount of risk in the procedure and that demands high dollar rates. If planty of time is available, I suggest learning electronics, repairs and soldering skills.
