Set the silent pad to cut off whatever pad/sample is used in the track. The copies you made can be set so that each separate copy of silence can be set to cut off each of the pads in the track, however many that is.

Record a sequence and hit that pad everytime you want a track mute.

OK we all have our little tricks and workarounds to do it. Thats NOT what Im talking about. I Said recordable track mutes specifically. I got a ton of work arounds, if u read my post I said even though I dont need it, recordable track mutes would be cool.

my studio plus classic (that I sold) had track mute and could read "any" sound file. it was weird.... I miss it now
