Yeah, the MPC has a SCSI Port on the back. You just have to use a different SCSI cable in order to connect it, or you can get the SCSI to SCSI 2 Adpater. I have this Blue MPC/MCD. LOL at Lamp's comment about not calling it an MCD... It's a great upgrade to the machine and I believe it loads up faster than the zips, But I know Your pain fasttrackpimp having to rename all those beats and drums and other files bro.... I have too many beats/Files from my MPC 2000 to count on my fingers. I was recently just thinking of just scrapping them since I got way better, but I like to look back at m old beats and meacure myself, plus all those hours in front of my classic seem sentimental (No Homo).
Peace

Yeah, better to keep previous works just to see the progress or for pure pleasure of listening to them.

By the way, you are eagle eyed I think ;) I never thought that the blue MPC with MCD has different scsi port. Now I looked at the back of my 2000xl and what do you know... different one :)

Yessir... The Akai MPC 2000XL Uses SCSI 2 (Not to be confused with the slightly longer but still the same looking SCSI 3).... I' a Computer tech. I find these things out quickly.
