How to build Drum Kits from records????

This is correct also, sometimes that's the case and it sometimes works.

I've got a disc with a lot of kicks, snares, hihats etc. and everytime i'm making a beat i just select the drums that fit the sample. i also tune the drums a bit. so every beat is different.

Maybe you could try finding some old loop/dj sample vinyl from ebay, some of those old records have some very good hits/loops. That way you also get that grimey vinyl feel, I've got 2 or 3 and am very happy with the results.

There is no way to cleanly remove any other instruments from hits...
