I just got a used Mackie 1202 (not the VLZ Pro). Before that I was using a Tascam 4-track as my mixer, but it was noisy as hell.

Here are mixers that sound analogue, warm & punchy and I personally recommend:

Mackie VLZ + VLZ Pro Series (the best if your on a budget)
Mackie 8 BUS
Soundcraft Spirit Studio range
Soundcraft Ghost
Allen & Heath
Behringer MX8000 + MX9000

Perfect for hiphop + they'll compliment your phat ass soundin' MPC
I've probably missed some classics out but these I highly recommend :)

i use a vestax pmc-05 pro II. it is AWESOME.

i used to use a shitty gemini scratchmaster thing, and when i upgraded it really just blew my mind how different the sound quality was. i highly recommend any vestax mixer (especially a pmc) for anyone who really likes getting down and dirty with it and still wants incredible sound. the lower end models just dont cut it in terms of sound.

i am surprised how many people have mackies here, but then, i shouldnt be because a mackie is about the most soild mixer you can get. id love one of those for studio work and then maybe a rane or just another vestax for actually playing.

i hate behringer shit personally :\

Behringer MX 8000...
got it real cheap because the guy who sold it didn´t want to ship it.
Great sound, I don´t mind any noise.
It lacks a meterbridge yet...
