MY 2000Xl is broke D**k!!!

i didnt guess from the pic. i opened my mpc and looked at the colors of a resister that isnt fried. when those things heat up the bands tend to change color. i have even seen the color cook off.

I just don't have the time to search for the damn resistor even though I don't know what the correct ohms or tolerance it is for it.
I think I'm going to call VST and ask how much $$$ is it going to cost to get sorted. I really hate to get rid of it if it's too much to get fixed but it might be time for an upgrade... alas... MPC 2500... here I come.
If I do sell it, I'll sell the internal HD and internal Microtech card reader seperate from the unit itself. Mo money... mo money... mo money!!!
