Is there any difference between SCSI or IDE cardreaders?
I read that IDE would be faster. Is that true?

you might as well get the entire MCD kit for 259 instead of just the card reader for 160..

ey,what`s going on with you
zip disks are a bargain,
with a usb zip the transfer from computer to mpc is easy,
the drive is also as cheap as possible,
so,why does everybody needs a cardreader??
I know there are some benefits but are they worth the money?
peace

Flash memory is more reliable, ZIPs tend to become unreadable after some time just like floppy disks, and then you loose a full disk of data. But instead of paying ridiculous prices for a useable card reader, I would recommend taking a look at external SCSI harddrives.

Would you prefer to have 20 zip disk(=2gb) laying around and they go bad or 1 2gb compact flash card that cheaper easier to find and a hell of a lot more reliable!
