Installed CF cardreader AND 9gb scsi harddrive in MPC 2000

wouldn't that be a nightmare due to the 2000 model not being able to use folders? as far as file names and organisation.

I would consider it for the XL though!

My thoughts exactly! Not to mention having to do the occasional backup...

Let's face it - I/O is NOT one of the strong points of the 2k.

As soon as I finish making this Y adapter from a spliced computer power supply I will put a 10 Gigabyte 2.5 inch drive in my 2000XL...

Let us know how that goes. How much you willing to sell one of them jonts for? I could use a hard drive in my XL, too.

I will figure out how much I will sell it for after I try it out first... I won't sell it for much though... Maybe I ma do a package deal with the cable and some Drums on CD... because I also sell drumkits....
