Thanks again fellas! I'm enjoying using it again! I need a better solution for media storage on it though! I have tons of old floppies, but it takes forever to load them! I had a zip drive back when I had the 2K before, but I don't remember what happened to it!

Any suggestions? I'm kinda out of the loop on using SCSI devices!

You might want to consider a SCSI card reader drive such as the MCDISK and MCDISK-2 models we sell. Or you can pick up a zip or jaz drive cheap on fleaBay. I saw a brand new 2GB jaz drive go unsold today and it was only $40 including shipping.

Man they have these auctions everywhere....I know of at least twenty in my area. These auctions sale salvage truck freight and about anything else that people/companies wanna get rid off! Sometimes there's junk..sometimes treasure! I got 5 cases of 16 oz. plastic cups with lids for $15 bucks, that was over 12,000 cups! Great for cook outs. They have just about everything at these auctions

You probably have the same auctions in your area if you look around! Try a Google search......you'd be surprised! Here's the list of my auction.... just to show you miscellaneous item that are up for grabs.....the list changes every week!

Hell Naw!!!!

I don't look like Juicy J!!!
Just say Hell No to drugs, man! :D

Yes, it was a shock to get such a good deal, even more shocking that it was in mint condition and nobody knew what it was worth! Ususally the guys at the auctions go early and research items up for grabs! I go for personal reasons, but most go to buy stuff just to re-sale it to other buyers or at their own personal businesses, some even sale items at flea markets!

So this item slipped through the cracks! They had a Korg Kaoss pad that sold for $60 bucks the same day! So I'm thinking that since they had the MPC bundled with old office equipment....it threw everybody off......Except me! :P

Wow, I just checked your site. I'm embarrassed to say but I didn't know anything about card readers existing for a classic 2k. Plus I see you ship to the UK.
One of my biggest worries for the longevity of my 2k is the availability of zips and floppies, but this would solve it.
Just one question can you you use the card reader as the boot disc?
Cheers :)
