Yes, choices for programs and samples to be MPC2000 format, but not the disk format.

You are partially correct.
If you see the other screenshot the MPC2000 does recognize as MPC2000 the cd format:

Maybe try deselecting anything that might not relate to an MPC2000, or to what you are trying to do at the moment, such as...

- All Samples moved to Dest Directory for bulk
- aksys filename restriction
- Combine same-numbered programs
- Unique program number
- Only 12-Char names considered for stereo

Then maybe try with different settings in Bulk options, Volume>single file instead of multiple, S-5000 instead of MPC-4000, select Dither to 16-bit, etc.

Other than that, if there are no relevant MPC options anywhere else in the program, not sure what you can do.

I'm not convinced of anything that program is doing, based on the mess of an interface, who knows if the MPC2000 partition it is creating is correct, or why the files are not making it onto it.

Maybe it defaults to MPC2000 disk format when you choose an MPC2000 program or sound format, who knows?

What sort of samples are you using, maybe try some small mono samples to begin with?

I am trying 16 bit, stereo, 44100Hz samples. I have also tried to load some of them with a floppy and they do load, so I don't believe is a sound format issue.

I tried this suggestion....nothing

Well I am almost there.........
I created a S1000 format cd, loaded my sounds and the MPC dows read my sounds!!
What I did was that on the image drive size put 400MB and partitions A-H (total eight).
I believe that this is the secret, does anyone know what is the size and number of partition for MPC2000 disk?
