Hi guys, newbie here. I just copped a 2000XL on Amazon...

I get asked all the time to send people a download link to the ISO rip I made of that disk... hahaha

I'll bet... I didn't know it had so many sounds! And the quality is just great! I can see why some peeps would ask around for an ISO... and I'm sure I'll be using these sounds for a while, all you need is some eq, fx, and layering to get these samples sounding unique

I like the disk because I liked hearing the sounds they thought were good when the machine came out and hearing the old sounds supplied for the 3000 etc... and new gear comes with different types of sounds they thought fit for this era.

I never use those sounds though so I didn't have much use for them myself...

I was downsizing my gear for a move from Las Vegas. I sold it mainly because I still have my MV-8000, ASR, 808, 909 and SY55.
I loved that lil XL buggger but I wanted to focus on utilizing my other gear.

That is mint! Has it got the 8 outs and EB16 effects card?

It's nice that it came with a sealed copy of the XL library. A fella on here called Ibunshi still hammers those sounds for his drums.

It has 32 megs, but no fx card and the 8 outs are blocked off, so I'm assuming no?
