Is there a way the MPC cant detect which samples are not in the sequence so that I wont have to manually go through each pad and look. I know about the purge feature, but i think thats just to delete samples not assigned to a pad?
Purge = gets rid of any samples in memory that are not assigned to a program.
What it sounds like you are trying to do is detect and get rid of samples that are not used in a SEQUENCE, there is no such feature.
Like Dstruct said..dstruction wrote:yeah in the time your spending waiting for an answer, you couldve manually went through each pad.... its just the truth, them sounds couldve been off the pads in few minutes doggie.
And that's real, this would not have even been an issue or even came up in this conversation and it would most likely be about the chosen sample and battle in the first place.
IF you had have went through the manual and all the addendums you would not have seen such a feature cause it doesn't exist the way you describe it or in any shape form or fashion in the 2k/2kxl that I've ever seen.
All this big talk aint getting anyone nowhere, e-stripes, e-respect, wtf is that about, nevermind, I don't care to know but working faster usually means your more apt to faults, miscalculations and general human error.gh4eva wrote:Dont eva think cuz you got more post than another user that that make your tracks better hommie.
No one ever said anything about being better than someone because of posts, that's ego talk, quit it![]()
Let that ego go and get back to what you doing in the first place.
Listen hommie I asked a simple azz question and in as much time as yall spendin written paragraphs trippin, yall could of answered the question yes or no. I dont have a manual, I got my MPC off Ebay. I thought there was a feature that cleared unused samples that were not in the sequence. Is that a Crime? Sometimes when I go through and Start deleting samples off the pads I accidently delete one I was using, and its a b*tch to go back and try to find it when you made a few different takes of the same part of a sample. That along with the fact that I am trying to work fast. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THAT. ITS A FORUM RIGHT?WHERE PEOPLE WITH MPCs ASK QUESTIONS RIGHT? I smell blood....Some of you clowns on yall period. And No Jac you dont want it Clown
