Hey man, I dont think this has been asked, but is there some kind of moisture/oil resistant coating? Cause brushed or polished metal And natural oils don't mix, and it will probably also help with the fingerprint thing.

Chromium(the metal Chrome Plating is based off of) is way to soft to use on an MPC, so I thought it was brushed or polished stainless, maybe aluminum? Or are they plated? And if so, to which degree, and by which method? Only reason I ask, is because I used to work with fine metals, Gold, Silver, Chromium, Titanium, Tin, Copper, and Aluminum. Sometimes we worked and refined Steel(copper, nickel, and tin)

Pure, unpolished chromium will oxidize when it comes into contact with air, as will pure silver. Bronze(nickel and copper) is notorious for this, but Steel and Aluminum mostly only oxidize when they soak something in, such as body oils or water, which contain oxygen. Don't mean to knock the stuff dude, I think the cases look great. But if they are steel with a chrome plating, then I suggest a simple spray on clear coat to prevent spotting, ya dig? I will probably buy one anyway and give it a clear coat myself.

Hey man i appreciate you brought that up since i forgot to explain it myself. It wont oxidize! I used the same procedure for 10 years now and had no complaints about oxidation. Its a special procedure that goes on before it gets chromed and a special procedure after. As long as you take care of the case just like with any other thing it will be the same as the day you get it.

Hey, im partnered with mpcstuff.com , i talked to Michael about it and we agreed on 145 $. It will be avalibe there in about 2 moths.

Most of the pics are outdoor its hard to photograph chrome since im not a professional but in the future i just might hire a pro to make some decent pics. Have a great day!

Question, you said you are going to make mpc 60/3000 cases also? do you realize that these cases have mounting tabs for the pad section and mounting tabs for the screen section int he mpc3000?

Looks like there is the most demand for these faceplates on mpc 1000's (your site poll)

Are you going to skip the others and concentrate on filling the demand

more orders=more $$$$

what will the turnaround time be from order payment received to shipment sof the product.

styleflip takes a month & that seems kinda long for a printed sticker but an actual custom made case would be almost understandable yet quicker the better

Yea i asked people here if they would like a poll, they said yes and i made one so i can have a clearer picture on what people want first . Next cases will be the 1000 and 2500 . I see nothing wrong with filling the demand , but like i said this is the beginning stages of the whole project by the end of the year i will have all the cases.

The turnaround time...if i can be honest i made the partnership and im on my vacation now, i made an agreement that when i get home in the beggining of august we start manufacturing stock cases for mpcstuff.com and they will redirect you to me for custom designs. We didnt talk about the shipping time and stuff like that.

Have a good day man!

i had no idea, can you describe it a little more?

What Concept is talking about is that when you lift up the lid on the 3000, it actually swings up like the hood on a car. It's got the pads and screen attached to the faceplate, as well as the button set. I hadn't even thought about it either! That may be one model that will be too much of a pain to do as you'll have to create something that those components can be attached to- much harder than say, the 1000 case. :(
