I couldn't tell you what the problem is but, it doesn't sound like a major issue. Could be a defective capacitor or something. I don't know alot about electronic repair but, I bet it will be something simple. At least I hope so for your sake. What did you pay for it if you don't mind me askin'?

Sounds like you got a motherboard problem that's not even worth fixing.

I disassembled the whole MPC and i found some solder connections on the bottom side, that looks strange to me?!
The right solder connection is also a little black....
Does anyone know, if it's normal?!

It's the back of the RAM banks...
That's a problem right there especially that black one. It almost seems like there was a heat problem under there.

Do you think that could be the reason for the crashes?
It could be but the one that is black that is not normal obviously so that's probably where your problem is coming from but the other ones I would be concerned too.

Yeah the solder looks the way it does cause it got hot enough to where it melted the solder and then cooled and that's why it looks like that you need to have a professional look at it.

send it off to a professional, or you wil be able to recoup some of your losses by selling the parts, ie the lcd screen.

If you decide to sell it, let me know. If you decide to part it out, I will buy the case (outer metal cover). If you decide to keep it, good luck with fixing it.
