Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I need some help:
I tried to extract some (Roland) Sampling Cds with CDextract 4 and it seems that the ZIP and the JAZ (1GB Iomega also) can only handle 170 files. I tried to burn some hundred *.wav files
on a CDR (no problem) but the mpc2000 seems to ignore it. Its impossible to load these samples into the machine!
Is this a problem of the MPC or the Iomega drives, or has it probably something to do with the WAV-Format?

do a search on wav formats and it will tell you which ones to use. Do a test burn with the wavs that Tutor provide for free for the mailing list, then you can know whether there is a problem on your side or the Format side. PEACE.

(NERO) Burn data CD, Level 1 8.3 format ISO9660, 16 bit wav. To fill up a ZIP you MUST create folders and put your samples there cause you can only put a certain amount of files in the root directory, just throwing samples onto the disk with no folders just sitting there in ROOT. MAKE FOLDERS and use them.

thank you very much for your help but I dont know wich kind of folder to create. If I simply create "a new folder" in win98 the mpc2000 seems to be unable to open them and obviously failes to open the Wav-files (in these folders)!
Do somebody know how many *.snd or wav-files the mpc2000 theoreticaly can handle from a CD?
