saving issues/ flash rom?

I dont quite understand the flash rom option on the 2000xl because when I try to save on my compact flash card, it wont let me save under flash rom?? It uses atapi? or something like that.

Flash Rom is what stores your OS you shouldn't be saving to it it should be Atapi device.

flash rom has nothing to do with compact flash (cards, readers).

okay so check this out! Iv'e been saving all my beats to a compact flash card, I got all my sounds, files, beats, and everything on this 1 gig, kodack cf card. now for some reason when i go to load anything, the mp says "not ready" as if it doesnt detect anything. Ive hooked up the cf card to my computer and viewd my files, its there so the cf card is good......is it a failure with the cf drive? also ive got other drives on the mp should i be saving to those, and just load my sounds through cf?

your device should be ATAPI on load
