will this card reader work?

im looking at getting a scsi card reader to replace my dead zip drive. its spyrus and it says MCDISK-D-1S/REV.B. will this work and be read and write capable as because ive read on here that some of the spyrus drives are read only. I have the mpc 2000 if that helps.

Look up the company, model of drive and check the specs for that particular device and you can find out.
