Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

The SCSI Zip drive that I recently purchased and have been using with the my MPC2000XL has stopped reading the disks. I tried to connect it to my housemates PC so I could save .wav files to the disk and take them back to the MPC. The disk didn't respond when I connected it to the PC, I guess the disk wasn't formatted to do so. (I have already been using this disk with my MPC) Then when I connected it back to my MPC, the Zip drive won't respond as it has usaully. I get error message "SCSI not ready" which there is nothing about in the manual. I borrowed another friends USB Zip drive and connected it to my Mac. The disks loaded fine and all the MPC data is still there. So is the zip drive formated weird or something.

Note:1) When I was connecting to the Computer I fiddled with the temination switch. Since reading about what that actually is, could that be a reason.
2) Also when I look in the "FORMAT" section in the MPC, the zip drive appears under "Vender" and "Product" but there is nothing under the HD image or "size" info. that normally shows the free space available. In the "LOAD" section it reads Type=No disk and there is a HD image where there used to be a Disk image.

Help as soon as possible would be much appreciated. Infact three cheers to the first person to respond.

No dude. I was very careful about that while connecting to the PC and the MPC. If the fuse blew then how come in device-5 under the "FORMAT" heading the Zip drive info appears but not the disk info (refer to Note:2 in my first post)

Why can't I find anywhere that mentions the error message "SCSI Not ready !!". I've checked your forums thouroughly. Have you ever heard of this MPC-Tutor?

Oh by the way Hoorah Hoorah Hoorah!!

Thanks for your help, but are these the only possibilities. Is there any for sure way to check if the fuse is intact. When I tried to connect the drive to the PC I used a different cable than the one I use for the MPC. It was 25 to 25 pin unlike the 25 to 50 pin for the MPC. Would this have done anything. Also what effect would switching the terminator switch between off and on while the drive was connected to the PC have.

Thanks!!!!
