Tracks & Sequences

Good Afternoon,

I have just started tracking beats and syncing them to individual tracks in Cubase,

My question: How can I create tracks in 1 sequence then copy them to another sequence
and still be able to solo tracks so I can send out to Cubase track by track,

I tried to create 3 sequences for eg, transfered to song mode then convert back to 1 long sequence, however
when I tried to mute individual tracks there was only 1 track??

Any suggestions if you can follow what Im trying to say?

Maybe read up in the manual what happens with tracks when you convert a Song to a Sequence.

But why convert to a sequence anyway? That's just messing things up. Can't you track without that?

Yeah, maybe, but I cant seem to get my head round how for example if I have 7 sequences of sounds, I only seem to be able to track the data from sequence 1 ??

Any Ideas??

I have no idea what the problem is...

Created a song mode sequence so the MPC switches sequences automatically. Then just record each track separately into Cubase.
