Hey MPC Forum peoples,
I got a problem with my scsi zip drive on my 2k classic. I can use my floppy drive ok, but when I go into disk mode and turn the wheel to switch to my scsi devices, I get this message that just says "wait..." it stays like this indefinately and I end up turning off the power switch. This is limiting me to only save to floppy, which sucks because my samples don't always fit. I'm thinking I have a bad scsi fuse but I don't remember hotswaping the drives. Anyways if any one has any ideas let me know. Thanks.

Had the same problem: SCSI Fuse

But it also could be something with the drive. What drive is it? Termination on ??
Did you move the drive before this happen? Do you have another cable to test?

peace

It's an Iomega 100MB Zip drive (plus version with auto detect), terminated and I have also hooked it up to a backup Zip drive that I have. I get the waiting... screen in both cases. I am convinced that I have blown the SCSI fuse. peterpiper, did you get yours fixed and if so, could you tell me how? Thanks for the reply.
