Microkorg/MPC users

I have a microkorg hooked up into my 2k for EQ'ing purposes. Recently I discovered that I was monitoring the sound in MONO..and not in stereo. Ha...i thought it was kinda strange how the levels were always even on the sample mode screen on the MPC, cuz you know most older recordings especially in the 70's were panned pretty hard in stereo.
So....thats leaves me with a question for other Microkorg users. Have you noticed if the inputs, specifically if the "audio in 2" line connection is a stereo jack or a mono one?
Im hoping its a stereo jack because i wanna be able to pan from left to right in the sample. If its a mono only jack, that sucks terribly.
The Manual doesnt specify what kind of jack it is. Neither does the literature on the korg.com site.
I've checked my 1/4 jack also, and its a red & white y-split connector.
So i dunno.

Any help is appreciated.
