Hey guys, I just bought the 8 outs board for the MPC2kxl and installed it yesterday ( hope that cards in all the way ) Anyway, I'm looking for advice/techniqes/methods utilizing the card. I know you can seperate and assign tracks to individual outs and mix them indepedent of each other. I'm using a mackie 1604vlzpro and so far I don't "hear" any differences. I'm thinking I missed something. Could you guys offer troubleshooting and "how to" tips here? Appreciate all.

You got to make adjustments to each channel that each output is assigned to, for eq, volume, pan...etc..I hope that's what you mean by "I don't "hear" any differences." For example you have a kik assigned to output 1 going into channel 1 of the mixer. Say you want to add a little more bass to it. You would adjust the eq to turn the bass up to your liking. Say you have a hi-hat on output 2 going into channel 2. You want to pan it slightly to the left. You would turn the pan knob left. Say you have a guitar sample coming out of 3 into channel 3. You have too much treble. Adjust the eq on the channel to turn down the treble. I hope this is the help your looking for. If not, sorry.
