How to chop and save zones on the 2000???

Hello, I'm trying to chop a loop in my machine save the sounds and assign them to pads using the zone feature. I searched the board and none of the older posts are clear to me. I got an xl manual which helps in theory but the 2000 is a little diffrenet. Can anybody help me out with this???

Now that I read it more I thought Lampdog goes into more detail but he doesn't just DL the manual from AKAI and read the manual.

Now that I read it more I thought Lampdog goes into more detail but he doesn't just DL the manual from AKAI and read the manual.

So I downloaded the manuel and followed the steps. I can save the first zone to a new sound no problem. Now when I try to save any additonal zones I get the message "Name already Used" even if i rename it. I must be missing something here, kinda want to throw this thing against the wall.

yeah, how to ZnEDIT is in the manual. just follow along with that.

Also what Rugged One says, do that too.
