Few Sample questions

When u sample on the mpc, might seem difficult to explain,but how do u make it so ur samples dont sound jaded, like wen u put 16 levels on, play and record,and tap the different pads,hard to explain i know

jaded is a bad way of describing the issue but i also believe he meant the above.

by 16 levels do you mean you chopped a sample to the 16 pads?

if this is the case either your not chopping correctly or use timestretch as was mentioned. till you clear up the issue i don't think anybody will bother to go in-depth.

I think he means when you do 16 levels with a TUNING parameter and the low ones are like really long and ('jaded?") and the high ones closer to the original tempo sound fine. The workaround is using something to timestretch your pitch shifts or making beats that don't require timestretching.
