internal card reader

has anyone installed an internal cf card reader on an OG 2000?

I think I've readit done a few times here on the boards, you should search it out man.

SCSI deally inside the 2k I think it was....

Didn't someone post detailed pics as well with a not so easy mod or something....?!?

There's the soldering in a ribbon cable mod (above link) which we know works, other than that there's this guy from SCSIforsamplers.com who comes on here once in a while claiming you can mount an external drive internally by modifying the plastic front panel, but I'm waiting to see proof. I have not seen pictures of the internal connection this uses and I personally don't think it can be done without soldering.
