ok before everybody comes down on me sayin read the book or theres already a thread hear me out.... im not havin problems with the setup im havin a weird issue ive never heard of before and cant find anywhere!!!
im trying to use my XL to sequence drums obviously and trying to use PT to sequence reason as a sound module, so before im tolde to do otherwise i dont want to use the reason sequencer AT ALL... ive got all of my midi running correctly because i can do one or the other at the moment (which is either sequence reason thru PT or sync PT with the XL) but here is my problem: when i have the XL synced and reason rewired into PT at the same time its almost like i get a feedback loop from reason. my keyboard runs into my XL and passes thru to Reason as my midi controller and it worked fine until i tried to setup a midi track in PT to sequence Reason..... ive tried cutting off all my midi in reason, cutting off my keyboard an doing the same to my XL and notihng works.....i KNOW that doing this is possinle but what step am i missing or adding extra to this thats messing it up????
