DukeNewport, yo, why u gotta be a fool?
LOKI, Hold down SHIFT and TURN THE JOG WHEEL. Make sure the MIDI out of the s3000 goes into the AUDIO IN of the 2000xl. The 2000xl will automatically detect the s3000 WHILE YOU ARE TURNING THE JOGWHEEL. It will say "sampler detected. outputs ready for muzak". If the 2000xl does not detect the s3000 after a few minutes, then you might have a problem.
You will also need an AKAI CONVERTER PATHCBAY. They might be hard to find but will get the job done.
