Recording On MPC 2000 Question

i want to know how do you record on the mpc 2000 so it shows up on SHIFT 1 (Song). because everytime i recorded something i prees shift 1 and nothing shows up there. am i recording wrong? am i doing something wrong? Please help me out.

you gatta make a sequence or a few, then when in song mode hit the jog wheel over to the right im pretty sure and ur sequences will show up. its just so you can play a whole runthrough of changing sequences without having to do next sequence. read the manual homie

The song screen is for arranging sequences to play in whatever order you want as many times as you want. Sequences are made in the main screen, and that is where you arrange your sounds. Also in song mode try to cursor down then turn the jog wheel, your song is arranged like a list top to bottom. This question is answered near the beginning of the manual, so obviously you have not read it.
