Can you use an adapter in cf drive?

Just bought a cf drive, ready to install. Then I try to buy cf cards. WTF? You can buy a 4gig cf card for $15, but a 1gig or smaller is like $25 and up (unless you buy them wholesale of the net, Fu*k That!). My question is, can you use an adapter to rock sd cards in your MPC? has anyone tried? Need quick answer, as I've got a monstrous track rampaging through my head and I need to get this sh*t done. one.

Stay with CF cards. If you buy a 4G card your going to have to partition it anyway, at the very least.

Not planning on using 4gig cards. was just saying you can buy sd cards dirt cheap and they're easy to get. cf cards smaller than 2 gigs are almost impossible to get without getting ass-raped on the price. was in office depot the other day and saw a bin full of 1 gig sd cards for like $7 bucks apiece. this a time issue not a money issue. thanx. one

i use sd, mini sd, micro sd,mem stick,smart media, and cf none bigger than 1 gig never had a problem been savin shit this way for about 5 years!

Thanx for the info. Will be ordering the Delkin SD to CF adapter next week since I broke myself getting my ish right. This will save me so much money since there's an Office Depot around the corner and they have big bins full of 1 gig and under SD cards for the low low. Again, Thanx for the info. one.

MPC 2000 doesn't know what more than 1024MB is, kinda like a y2k sorta thing, you probably won't be able to get around that unless you build your own MPC OS.

you can still find 1-2GB CF cards cheep online, try amazon.


look for the "Cheap CF Drive Link + How-to" post for one and 2 GB cards known to work, i think it has a few amazon links too.
