does the length of your sample correlate in any way to how many ticks it would be on the step edit screen. for example, say i just chopped up a sample on the trim screen and it said: start- 0.0 end- 50000.0. now would that length of 50,000 (milliseconds i think) translate into something like 87 ticks or whatever. this might be a kinda out there question but im curious to know if there's a formula for converting this. if you don't understand my question just hit me back and i will try to clarify.
