OS 1.20 supports CF and SCSI, will it still recognize Zip?

Sorry if this question has already been asked but I couldn't find it!

I know that OS 1.20 is needed to run CF drives and SCSI hard drives, but will it stop the current ZIP100 drive from working?

At the moment I've got a 2000xl running OS 1.82 with a ZIP100 in the front, and a CF drive (the most recent aftermarket, not hot-swapable one), a SCSI 9.1GB hard drive, and OS 1.20 loaded onto a Zip disc all ready and waiting.

I was hoping to load the new OS so the hard drive will be recognized and transfer all my current projects and sound libraries from my assortment of Zip discs to the hard drive before replacing the Zip for the CF - is this possible???

You don't need 1.20 to use a harddrive...

You don't even need os 1.20 to run the IISDMC CF + SD drive. Os 1.20 actually has dropped the partition functionality which makes the use of a harddisk and +1G cards a pain in the neck.

...UK based, ebay seller, Music Media Pro sold me the hard drive and assured me it wouldn't work with anything else but 1.20 - as did US based mpcstuff.com when they sold me the new aftermarket CF drive.

I guess their greatest experties lie in selling, rather than the products they sell for!
