2000 XL PROBLEM

I just installed the EB16 and the 8 out put board. well the eb16 works fine, but when i power it up with the 8 out board, it freezes and says initializing memory forever. so whatever i take the 8 out board out.

now today I'm making a beat right, I put this echo on one sample, then the mpc freezes and keeps echoing for like 30 seconds then un-freezes. but now all my samples are on ALL programs. so i turn the mpc off and reload some samples, and the samples are on all four programs. no matter how many time i turn the mpc on and off, no matter if I load samples from my flash card or a zip or if I actually sample something. the samples all get loaded on all four programs. everytime.

anyone ever heard of these two problems before?

why dont you try and uninstall the effects board too. make some cuts to test it. then start with the 8out board. make some cuts to test. then do the effects board. and def make sure that the card is mounted and seated in the plug securely. if it still happens try another factor. your ram. you can also try a factory reset once everything is installed too.
