I'm considering buying my boy's mpc2000. Only problem is we can no longer get the boot disk to start the machine. He replaced the disk driver and that didn't help so we're hoping it's his boot disk. He has the original (os 1.17). I've also read about upgrading the os. We've downloaded the os 1.72 boot disk from Akai website but the machine still reads "disk error insert boot disk" or something like that. Any suggestions.
