recording midi into MPC from VSTi's in Nuendo

Does anyone Know how to record midi data into the MPC from a program like Nuendo thats running VSTi plugins. I'm having trouble doing this even though I can record midi data into the MPC from Sound Modules Like the Roland XV-3080.
