Famous producers i.e dre kanye others ect. have different distinctive drums, how would you go about finding different variations of drum sounds, not just tipical mpc hip hop drums...

layer drums
get live drums

Where can I get drums and percussion sounds from with buying them, sample from vynals or computer plug ins?
