SCSI problem

On SCSI-4 (the exernal SCSI port) I have an external hd.. Yesterday everything was working right, today I put on my mpc and he can't find the harddrive! He only finds my internal zipdrive, but not the external hd!

Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

oh my, you are really lazy.
try to turn the drive on first, than boot up the mpc.
check the connection on the back of the external drive and on the back of mpc, take the connector out, check if there are all of thepins, check it these are not bent.
i have no other ideas

Hmm I've opened the external drive, couldn't find anything strange.. So I hooked it up again and it's working again!

Anyone gotta idea where the problems comming from?

i dont know, sometimes enough is to disconnect the power cord to make it work again
