How Do I Connect My MPC 2000 XL to FL Studio 8????

I have a tascam US-144 audio interface and I wanted to make the basis of my beat (the 808 and hi hat) on my mpc and then transfer it into FL Studio and add some chords and what not but I'm having trouble connecting my MPC to FL through the interface and transfering the basis of my beat into FL can anyone help me???
