Help Programs !????????

I look on you tube and I believe I see guys with the 2000xl. It's like the chopped up the sample several times various parts of one song for one sequence. I know how to chop when I do my chops always go in bank A in that program. Can I have more chops off same song on banks B and C with drums on D ? When I have 4 different programs loaded the some how the pad will play notes off one program with those sounds only until I change the program help is appreciated I hope I'm not confusing anyone feedback please.
