MPC EQ

I seen someone talking about EQ is one of the most important things in making your beats, I have a MPC2000XL, how do I go about EQuing indvidual sounds on that???

you can try to eq before you sample or you can buy the ib m208p and eq each output of the mpc

8 0ut expander. You would hook each out to a channel on your mixer and eq there. The multi fx card has a four band filter that you can use to shape sounds in the mpc.

yeh eq and compression a must for the fatness.

so is the 8 out and the other outboard shi* the only way to use the eq on the mpc? cause when I play around with it I hear no difference. If so then im interested in gettin the 8 outs. ..

you could eq before you sample. I have a compressor and EQ before the inputs... that helps a lot. This also helps you to keep your levels tight...

...ofcourse you still have to mix your stuff, but theres less to do, plus you can cope with the stereo out, like when playing live...

you could simply use your MIXER.........

smoov you need the eight outs, a mixer and then something like a behringer....eq is key to pro sounding beats....even my sound collection which sound great outta the box always benefits from eqing.....

the 8 outs and a mixer is the essential next step.....
