Cause the Blue MPC2000XL's were the first ones with Multi-Card Drives even though they came with Zip drives too but that was before MCD.

im not sure if the new ones are like this but the drive it comes with takes compact flash,smart media,memory stick ,memory stick duo,sd,mini sd,and micro sd,so many choices i get my new cards at the grocery store!

This one I just picked up yesterday off of Craigslist only has ZIP, but it's cool because my Mac has a ZIP drive also, so that shouldn't be a problem loading samples from my computer.

Lots of dudes still use zip, myself included. They're reliable(the disks not the drives) and hold a decent amount of data.
