I have an issue with my MPC2000XL. I believed that replacing the pad would resolve the issue, so I purchased a replacement pad sensor from mpcstuff.com and installed it and the issue remains the same.
The issue:
All pads have no problems for the first 2 vertical lines of pad buttons, but the third of fourth veritcal lines of pad buttons often when you hit 1 pad, two or three other pads (on the same vertical lines) are triggered. The vertical lines are illustrated below by the + symbal.

Could this be an issue with the motherboard (which I had replaced not too long ago by an authorized music dealer)? Or would it be an issue with the connector from the pad sensor to the board? Or something else?
Sometimes when I whack the right side of the MPC the issue resolves itself for about a min then back to the same issue.
Any help/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
