Do you remember when you first got your 2000 XL?

Well, Im getting mines tomorrow?

I have been using reason for years, and i wanted to try something different.
So i got a good deal for $400!

Only downfall is that there is no manual?

So whats the best way to learn besides firsthand?

Where can I find good tutorials that explain literally everything from the ground up.
Like heavily detailed tutorials that go into depth?

Anything?

i do remember. it was just 5 or 6 weeks ago.

as already mentioned... download the manual, try everything out and search here if you don´t know what to do.

I remember, it was two weeks ago.

I got my first 200xl about 3 years ago, but bought it back after a day. Pads were all messed up and it was supposed to be almost new (the blue one).

Just picked up another project one for about $125 and I'm slowly bringing it back to life. Should be ready to rock by next friday if all my parts come in.

ahhh yeah, like 2 years ago. been looking at one since like 01 though. Great thread btw.

oh yeah i remember,,the dude who sold it to me through ebay said,,works great looks great no problems at all,,,

now either he was a liar or ups kicked it all the way here

im talking no hardware to hold the face down
front completely off
scratched to hell
said there was cards (no cards)
lights out
tacts broke
slider broke
screen has permanent burn-in
no power cable for reader or mpc
almost every plastic button was broken..

god im gettin pi55ed thinking about it....where is that fvker,,,u on here bastard?????

ahhh anyhow,,it looks and works like its straight out tha box now...

now that i think about it,,he must have been high

oh man if i only had the pics from his ebay auction..it looked brandnew...i got 50 bux back from a case i had to open through ebay,,but this is after he had the ball5 to send me three messages within an hour telling me hurry up and leave feedback because i put a hold on the transfer..douchebag..

Buy the ebook on this site, for reals.

best way to learn, and i know its cliche, but just use the machine with one hand while holdin the manual in the other

go to kinkos and print it out. get it bound. you learn somethin new about it everyday when you're startin off. it gets a little slower as you get used to it, but the manual still has some things you'll never expect to use til one day.... bam
