Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

so when i sync my beat t my comp through sonar it comes out all static sounding and slowed down
any one can tell me what im doing wrong ?

Make sure the tempo in sonar matches the tempo on the mpc, and use the midi clock mode on the mpc.

Check the record in and playback sample rates in Sonar. 2kxl is 44k.
