Is it possible to record more than one type of sound going through the MPC from the keybaord for example (grand piano and flute) through midi i have it hooked where i can record the grand piano over my drums on the mpc but when i try to overdub my track with another sound (flute) it changes the piano to flute instead of having both sounds. Is there a way to get both sounds? Sorry if this is confusing. I'm new to the MPC. thanks.

Nope, every voice on your synth needs to be addressed via its own midi channel. So if you want and to play flute and piano on your keyboard triggered from the sequencer of your mpc then you need to create 2 separate midi tracks in the sequence on your mpc.
